Song: "Got no time to pick up girls normally, so Ima just pick up this cute girl trying to kill me."

Nice.

Jokes aside, this is a pretty interesting premise. Should make for an entertaining watch.

It's gonna be interesting as Platinum Vision is the studio behind this, and seeing as they've done Kono Oto Tomare and Kai Byou Ramune, as well as Servamp and Devils Line, I wonder how they'll go about this.

I AM, however, concerned how the romance is gonna play out, as the script is handled by Osamake writer Ayumu Hisao, and given the romance and writing in THAT show, this gives me concern....

Byno • 2 years ago

Wait wut...the script is done by the same guy that did Osamake? Fuck....I hated that....romanscrew up...

Kirito • 2 years ago

That guy has no mouth and he's doing the accent thing

Anon0o0 • 2 years ago

Manga source material is good imo, so if they followed the manga, it should be good. Judging fr 1st ep, they seem to do so. There's enough source material to work on without adding fillers or going off the manga storyline.

Mr.Gold • 2 years ago

Well s**t, I had expectations for this but you just shoved them in dogs**t now that I know it's the same writer as Osamake😑

Veldora • 2 years ago

Servamp and Devil's line are stuff I have rewatched a few times. This should be nice.

Noah Winns-Cromer • 2 years ago

Haven't seen either one, but Kono Oto Tomare and Kai Byou Ramune, I have seen, and both were fun to watch.
I recommend Kono Oto Tomare if you've seen Chihayafuru, seeing as it's a traditional Japanese activity, as well as Mashiro no Oto if you like traditional Japanese music. Plus the OP Blizzard by BURNOUT SYNDROMES is an OP you SHOULD NOT skip. It's that good.

Kai Byou Ramune is an episodic food of the week fantasy comedy series and is essentially your standard master and apprentice scenario. While lacking in plot and characters, it makes up with the focus on the two leads and the overall wholesome environment. If you like Mob Psycho, then this is a show worth checking out. Also, like Blizzard, the OP Shake by Ramune's VA Yuuma Uchida is a bop to listen to, do not skip the OP.

Porthya • 2 years ago

Umm, Noah, Ramune isn't exactly comedy. It does have comedic episodes or rather scenes, and the symbolism is executed in a would be could be humorous way(with the food and ingredients), but the themes, subjects and plotlines are as serious as it gets. I still can't forget the mini-arc with the 2 brothers and their traumatised mother who couldn't hear one of the sons(I'm just saying it like this, cause no point for spoiler tag if you don't deliver spoilers).

Noah Winns-Cromer • 2 years ago

As long as it's been out for at least 6 months, IDC about spoilers.

But yes, you're right about Ramune.

Kaelina Vanfeld • 2 years ago

About the romance even the manga is all about teasing...

a Kid • 2 years ago

Ooh Veldora! I see so you must've read this from one of the manga books that Rimuru made 😮

Veldora • 2 years ago

No, I watched the anime.

Naija Otaku • 2 years ago

WHAT show, exactly?

Noah Winns-Cromer • 2 years ago

Pretty sure by "what show", I was referring to Osamake. Like I said, Ayumu Hisao wrote the script for Osamake, and is ALSO the writer for Koroshi Ai, AKA, the show you're watching right now.

If you've seen Osamake on how cringe it is, you'd see why I express concern.

Naija Otaku • 2 years ago

Ohhh, lmaaao. Was pretty silly - only good to pass the time; and barely good, at that.
I'd be concerned too, but this one seems pretty mature so I hope they don't messup the plot. I like what I see, so far. :)

It Was Kevin {TBMG} • 2 years ago

id be worried too if it was a original animation.

its based on a very good manga tho, and the romance while not a in-your-face type its still there but beautifully hidden

eva • 2 years ago

Kono oto tomare? Damn im def watching this but uh lets see

Anigirl • 2 years ago

Manga has good ratings in Goodreads.com. It also got 5.4 Million Viewers on Pixiv...
Regarding the scripwriter who is now handling this one, UGH! That is really...really...concerning. Osamake is... Sigh...

I just hope that she will treat this project right. I HOPE
